On March 27, 2017 (rescheduled from February 9, February 13, and March 15) , Attorney Eric D. Correira spoke at an all day seminar presented by the National Business Institute. The seminar provided an overview of the Medicaid rules and planning techniques to protect assets from being consumed by long-term care costs. The program covered the Medicaid look back period and transfer rules, last minute planning options, the use of irrevocable Medicaid trusts, and legal ethics in the area of estate and Medicaid planning. The seminar was held in Warwick, Rhode Island.
