Correira, previously a partner at the international law firm of Holland & Knight LLP, has published articles in the Estate Planning Journal and in the former Journal of Asset Protection, and represented offshore trustees in U.S. tax disputes. Attorney Correira has completed advanced legal studies in jurisdictional issues and litigation at Harvard University Law School; and in international taxation, comparative law, and the European Union at St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University and at the Center for International Legal Studies in Salzburg, Austria. He has been an adjunct law professor at the New England School of Law in Boston; and has taught international jurisdiction courses at law schools in Europe in the countries of Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Latvia and Lithuania. In 2014, he has been invited to lecture in Russia at the Moscow School of Social & Economic Sciences School of Law on the topics of comparative property and trust law, international taxation, and jurisdictional disputes in conflicts of law.
