Atty. David J. Correira recently completed a comprehensive edit and rewrite of Massachusetts Elder Law, Second Edition, for LexisNexis. According to the publisher, “This all-inclusive source provides analysis, instruction, forms, and practical advice essential for practicing elder law in Massachusetts.” Topics included in this book are 1) estate planning, 2) planning for incapacity, 3) medical decisions, especially at the end of life, 4) long-term care insurance, 5) an extensive four chapter summary of the MassHealth rules for long-term care eligibility and planning techniques, 6) guardianships and conservatorships under the Massachusetts Uniform Probate Code (MUPC), and 7) litigating elder law issues. Atty.
