It is with great sadness that we share with you the sudden loss of David J. Correira, our firm founder, colleague, friend and, in my case, father and mentor.

David’s career achievements were innumerable; he was a respected lawyer who loved to learn, a prolific writer and teacher who traveled the globe to share his time and talents, and a savvy leader always in the forefront of ways to grow and expand the firm. Most importantly, however, were his deep and cherished relationships with our clients, the cornerstone of our firm.

As many of you know, I have been engaged in all aspects of the firm and its management, and our office takes a team approach to every client matter. Please be assured that we are continuing to carry on the business of the firm; our dedicated professionals are here to help. We remain on top of our clients’ deadlines and legal needs.

For the safety of David’s family, friends, colleagues and clients, a private funeral mass, with livestream, was held on Monday, July 13, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Louis de France in Swansea, Massachusetts.
